Boris Gremont is the Managing Partner of Sandton Financial Services. He is an experienced investment banker and private equity professional. He specializes in bringing together qualified buyers and major international sellers for full-shipload oil and gas transactions, where transactions can range up to $500 million per transaction. 

 

Over the last few years, Sandton Financial Services LP has participated in fuel transactions on behalf of buyers and sellers worldwide. Sandton Financial Services is highly experienced in these transactions and in structuring complex fuel financing using local and offshore financial instruments, and assists in contract negotiation and tank storage and shipping logistics. 

 

As the intermediary in worldwide bulk oil and gas transactions, which includes jet and automotive fuel, diesel, crude oil, LNG and LPG gas and other fuels, Sandton has negotiated supply contracts with numerous overseas refineries, and offers these fuels to their worldwide network of buyers for port pickup or full tanker delivery to Any Safe World Port (ASWP).

 

Boris was previously a Managing Partner for Red Oak Capital Private Equity for seven years, and for Reef Equity Investments, LP, a boutique private equity firm, which was acquired by Transition Capital Partners, LLC, a Dallas, Texas based private equity investment company.
 
In 1990 he raised funds from a private investor and built a national automobile protection business specializing in automobile dealer inventory heat and hail protection. He successfully patented the product, built national distribution, and exited the company in 1999. He also served as vice president of a NASDAQ-listed company providing catalog and internet fulfillment services. He has also purchased, owned or facilitated the purchase of a number of businesses.
 
Educated in South Africa and the United States, Boris has earned a Bachelor degree in Commerce, and a Certificate in the Theory of Accountancy (equivalent to a Master’s degree in Accounting). He was a qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa), as well as a CPA (Texas), and has served on several boards of directors

Jarek Romaniuk links Sandton Financial Services to the European marketplace, bringing Polish and other European corporations and individual partners together to establish new businesses in Europe and facilitating Polish entrepreneurs entering North American markets.

 

Jarek's expereince and services includes  -

  • Identifying preferable locations to set up business in collaboration with regional Polish local governments and real estate experts. 

  • Creating databases including information on infrastructure, entrepreneurs and enterprises best suited for the development of specific projects,

  • Facilitating trade of selected consumer goods and advanced technology products.

He has vast experience with small and medium-sized employers' organizations in Poland, and is active in the execution of EU co-funded projects, promoting pro-ecological and resource-saving measures under the EU Life+3xenvironment PL project. He also gives lectures and seminars with the participation of entrepreneurs implementing the EU Life+3xenvironment PL project.

 

He is the co-organizer and CEO of an independent USA-based money transfer company in Poland, responsible for developing the company’s network and working with Polish agents to improve the standard of rendered services.

 

He previously worked at the Foreign Investors' Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Warsaw, promoting and facilitating setting up of foreign investments in Poland on attractive market and financial terms.

He is experienced in assisting entrepreneurs and investors from and to the USA, as well as entrepreneurs from China, Taiwan, South Korea, France, UK,Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Greece, Bulgaria, Mongolia and Kazakhstan in investments and trade projects.

 Tadeusz Machnik is active in the European and East European markets, most effective in Russia, Belorussia and Ukraine. With 25 years professional experience working in the markets of the former Soviet Union countries, Tadeusz has extensive knowledge and experience in assisting companies looking to start profitable investments or establishing trade contacts with reliable partners in this region, including legal and tax matters.     Tadeusz is especially experienced in supporting companies and investors in the petroleum products trade business and also in trading other commodities. For 17 years Tadeusz has acted as a non-profit representative for business matters of the Krasnoyarsk Region Russian Orthodox Church Metropolitan Panteleimon.

 

Tadeusz facilitates drawing contracts, starting from reviewing the draft contracts, and also assists clients in the process of executing already concluded contracts, presenting the client most effective ways to obtain the best price and other terms, which ensure that the contract will be profitable. He pays special attention to our clients’ financial safety, which is an essential factor in these markets. That is why he are only gets involved in projects that may close successfully.

 

When staying permanently in Russia and countries of the former Soviet Union republics, Tadeusz sourced clients and perspective business projects in collaboration with Gunvor, Novatek, Vitol, Glencore, Rosstechnologie, Gazprom, Rosnieft and other top Russian refineries and other Russian corporations in the oil and energy sector. Tadeusz’s actions always prove to be effective thanks to his good personal connections in the Russian Federation Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Energy and Fuels of the Krasnoyarsk Region and in the Russian national and regional chambers of commerce. For 10 years, until 2018, Tadeusz also acted as the authorized representative of the Interregional Association of Energy Providers and National Association for Power Saving and Energy Efficiency, representing the Russian Federation in the European Union.

 

He provides professional advice for buying or selling fuels or other commodities, providing  confidential and professional advice with a perspective of an effective execution.

 

Tadeusz’s role may also include how to identify and verify qualifications of buyers and sellers to the respective transactions and to organize and facilitate negotiations between parties, covering  guidance through complex transaction and legal procedures, assisting in determining terms of financial clearances and transportation /logistic process aimed at swift delivery of contracted commodities to the buyer.  Tadeusz is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian.
